This human torso sculpture was created in classic Greek form and hand-cast by the artist, Quincy Verdun.
Normally cast in hydrostone, this work is also available in a weather-resistant cast stone for outdoor use.
Included with this sculpture is the black cube as shown. It provides support for the torso and also offers an interesting "balance" in the arrangement.
This work is from the "Classical Greek" series.
In the Renaissance, masters like Michelangelo, drew inspiration from the early works of the Greeks. In his works you have a sense of his admiration for classic Greek form. Rodin was also awe-struck by the great works of ancient Greece. He brought us incredible works such as The Thinker, The Kiss, and Victor Hugo and the Muses. Inspired by these, Quincy offers these open-edition casts which are reminiscent of this Classical Greek period.
Shipping for this artwork is available to US and international destinations and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee of the purchase price. For questions or comments about "End of Eden" or to commission a similar work,
