Are the paintings listed here originals or reproductions?
All of the paintings offered by Galerie Verdun are original one-of-a-kind works, executed with the highest standards and quality artist-grade materials. Unfortunately, not all art dealers are honest. Many collectors have been duped into buying "genuine original" paintings which are actually sub-standard works mass-produced in foreign warehouses. In contrast, the artists featured on this site are independent, self-representing artists, respected in their field.

How will my art be shipped?
Safe and prompt shipping of your artwork is a high priority. Special cartons designed for shipping paintings are used, which are puncture resistant and very sturdy. Framed art prints are also shipped with special care to ensure your artwork arrives safely. Shipping carrier will differ depending on the destination and the size and weight of the artwork. Currently, the carriers used are UPS and USPS. See our Shipping page for more detailed information.

What if I don't like the art I purchased?
Galerie Verdun maintains a very generous refund policy. If you are not satisfied with the artwork you have purchased, it may be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price.

Will Galerie Verdun ever offer any other types of art other than abstract paintings like landscape art or fine art photography?
We are currently considering adding other artists and galleries in order to offer more variety of fine art. In the meantime check out the excellent links to other landscape artists and also for fine art photography.

Are fine art reproductions available for any of your artists' paintings?
We have published a few prints in the past and plan to offer framed art prints again in the near future. Also, you can browse the Posters, Prints and Framed Art page for other sites offering fine art prints and posters.

Will my painting be a good art investment?
Ethically we can not make any claims regarding the investment value of the art we offer. We do take measures to allow each piece of art to retain what value it has and what it can attain in the future by providing signatures on all originals and limited edition art prints. We also offer certificates of authenticity on request.

Although you can be assured each piece of artwork offered here is of the highest quality and created by talented and respected artists, a qualified art appraiser can better answer your questions regarding art investment.

Can I commission a painting from one of your artists?
Yes, commission requests are very much welcomed. You can contact any of our artists directly and discuss commissioned works with them. Each artist will have their own terms for commission agreements.

Will my contact information be secure on your site?
Mutual trust is very important to us so we strive to provide the safest shopping experience possible. Read our privacy policy for details.

Can I be notified of new works as they are made available?
Yes, notification of new and upcoming works is made available to our collectors through our newsletter and by special announcements. You can sign up to subscribe or unsubscribe to our newsletter here. If you would prefer not to subscribe we also provide an RSS news data feed which lists all new works as they are made available. This data can be read with any RSS/XML news reader and can be added to MyYahoo, MyMSN and Firefox's Sage. See Latest Works page for the RSS/XML links.
