New Printer-Friendly Catalog Pages

To enhance your browsing experience and add usability, we have added printer-friendly catalog pages.

So now, when you are interested in a particular artwork and would like to print out a catalog sheet for later review or to show to your spouse or friends, you can load the newly available printer-friendly catalog sheet and print. You won't have to settle for a print with all the menu, banner and other items from the main web page. This page has all the information you need and nothing else. Along with a generously sized image of the artwork, the catalog sheet provides a detailed list of the artwork specifications, pricing, a description and a few words about the gallery series.

Also on the catalog sheet is additional information for shipping, returns and our contact details - everything you need without having to run back to the computer.

RSS Feeds Now Available!

Galerie Verdun has implemented the use of RSS news feed technology.

The RSS/XML technology isn't new but it's beginning to gain more widespread use and we realize how useful it will be for our visitors and art collectors. A news feed reader allows all the information you want come directly to you in one place instead of you going look for it on dozens of different sites. With the ever-growing problem of spam, this is great technology for everyone.

So, Galerie Verdun is now offering RSS feeds for our general newsletter (the one you are reading now) and for the 'Latest Available Artwork' notifications for each of the artists.

Take a look at our artists' latest works.

Spring Decorating Fever

Well, its spring-cleaning time and it may also be a great opportunity to redecorate.

If you're looking for a great way to fill an empty wall after clearing out old clocks and other wall hangings, here's an idea! Instead of picking up a stock framed print from your local frame shop, which is likely a lithograph that will fade over time (even in just a few months if it gets a lot of light), consider an original painting. The rich vibrant colors of an oil or acrylic painting just can't be reproduced satisfactorily in a lithographic print. With no glass between you and the work, you can really appreciate the texture of paint and canvas.

Take a tour through our galleries. You may find just what that empty wall needs!
