This large figurative work is a giclee canvas print by Quincy Verdun. The orange skin tones are reminiscent of Gauguin, one of Quincy's favorite painters. However, the figure's long neck is borrowed from Modigliani and the symbolism is in the vein of the Surrealistic works of Dali.
The edges of the canvas are staple-free and painted black since many collectors prefer the simple black edges of these paintings rather than the look of framed art, although it can also be framed for a more traditional look.
A signed certificate of authenticity is included.
"...That which they call abstract is the most realistic, because what is real is not the exterior but the idea, the essence of things."
